Cookie Policy
Last Updated: January 1, 2026
This policy explains how the glynza website, web dashboard, and mobile app use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the service, protect sessions, and improve the experience.
What Cookies and Local Storage Mean
Cookies are small files saved by the browser. Local storage and session storage are browser or app technologies used to keep operational data such as sessions and preferences. In the mobile app, similar technologies may be used to keep device settings and registration.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
- Salon app sign-in cookies such as glynza_salon_auth_token and glynza_salon_auth_refresh_token to protect the session and verify the user.
- Language cookies such as NEXT_LOCALE to show the site in the correct language.
- Cookies or session data used to detect session expiry, protect the account, or redirect the user correctly.
- These technologies are necessary to operate the service and cannot be disabled inside the system without affecting sign-in or security.
Local Storage in Web and Mobile
- We use local storage to keep the Supabase session, device identifier, calendar preferences, service and staff ordering, theme settings, and connectivity state.
- We use session storage for temporary states such as focusing a specific appointment, device registration, or weak connectivity indicators.
- The mobile app may use similar local storage to keep the session, notifications, and some preferences between uses.
Notifications and Device Identifiers
When notifications are enabled, we may save a device identifier, notification token, and topic subscriptions to send booking, account, and operational alerts. You can disable notifications in device or browser settings.
Analytics and Performance
We may use technical logs and performance data to understand errors and improve the service. We do not currently use advertising cookies to sell data or track users across external websites for advertising purposes.
External Services
Some external services connected to the system, such as payment, messaging, maps, or support providers, may use their own cookies or storage technologies. Their use is governed by their policies when you open or interact with them.
Your Choices
- You can delete cookies and local storage from browser settings or by signing out of the system.
- You can disable notifications from device or browser settings.
- Blocking necessary cookies or deleting local storage may sign you out or break some features.
- If we add optional non-essential cookies in the future, we will provide notice or a consent choice where required.

For any question about cookies, local storage, or notifications, you can contact us through the Contact page on the website.
